SFRISO-UJALDON DUO
The Sfriso-Ujaldón Duo is regarded as one of the highest referring among the guitar duets of Argentina.
They made their first tour in the United States in 1995, giving concerts in the states of New York, North Caroline, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. They conducted workshops in the Universities of Wake Forest NC, Ithaca NY, and Mansfield PA. Since then, they have returned to the United States on several opportunities.
They have performed with many orchestras, including the National Symphonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires, under Master Andrés Spiller conducting. They have recently taken part in the "Homage to Rodrigo" Festival, where they played his "Concierto Andaluz", with the Istanbul Philarmonic Orchestra (Turkey) under Ionescu Galati conducting. Also, they have been invited to play with orchestra, in Mexico and in the United States, in 2001.
They have played in important theatres and halls, such as the Colón Theatre (Buenos Aires-Argentina), San Martín Theatre (Buenos Aires-Argentina), Alvear Theatre (Buenos Aires-Argentina), Belgrano Auditorium (Buenos Aires-Argentina), Hall of the Americas of OAS (Washington DC-USA), Teresa Carreño Theatre (Caracas-Venezuela), SODRE Theatre (Montevideo-Uruguay), Brendle Recital Hall (Wake Forest NC-USA), Steadman Theatre (Mansfield PA-USA), Ataturk Kultur Center (Istanbul-Turkey), etc.
In 1997, they released their CD "Solos y Duos", with works by Piazzolla, Britten, Ginastera, Bach and Kleynjans.
Diverse music critics in Argentina, USA and Europe, highlighted their artistic virtues, also specialized magazines such as Guitar Review.

DUO SFRISO-UJALDON
El dúo Sfriso-Ujaldón es considerado como uno de los más altos referentes entre los dúos de guitarra de su país.
Realizaron su primer gira a EEUU en 1995, ofreciendo conciertos en los estados de New York, North Caroline, Washington DC y Pennsylvania. Dictaron workshops en las Universidades de Wake Forest NC, Ithaca NY y Mansfield PA. Desde entonces, han retornado a EEUU en diversas oportunidades.
Han tocado con diversas orquestas, entre ellas con
la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Buenos Aires dirigida por el Maestro Andrés
Spiller.
Recientemente (en 1999) participaron
en un Festival "Homenaje a Rodrigo" en Turquía, en donde tocaron con la Orquesta
Filarmónica de Estambul, el Concierto Andaluz de dicho compositor, dirigidos
por el Maestro Ionescu Galati. También, para el 2001, han sido invitados a
tocar con orquesta en México y EEUU.
Han tocado en importantes salas como la del Teatro Colón (Bs.As., Argentina), Teatro San Martín (Bs.As., Argentina), Teatro Alvear (Bs.As., Argentina), Auditorio de Belgrano (Bs.As., Argentina), Hall de las Américas de la OEA (Washington DC, EEUU), Teatro Teresa Carreño (Caracas, Venezuela), Teatro del SODRE (Montevideo, Uruguay), Brendle Recital Hall (Wake Forest NC, EEUU), Steadman Theatre (Mansfield PA, EEUU), Ataturk Kultur Center (Estambul, Turquía), etc.
En 1997 editaron el CD "Solos y dúos", con obras de Piazzolla, Britten, Ginastera, Bach y Klaynjans.
Diversos medios de la Argentina, EEUU y Europa destacaron sus virtudes artísticas, lo mismo que revistas especializadas, como la Guitar Review.
